Introduction

The Bose MIE2s are the sequel to the summer blockbuster hit, the Bose MIEs. Like most sequels, the MIE2s take some liberties with the source material, favoring a weird concha-shaped sleeve design that doesn't stay in very well. Fortunately they also have crux fins—those hook-like appendages. Unfortunately, while the crux fins keep your headphones from flying off your head, they don't keep your headphones in place: be prepared to keep pushing them back in. Overall, the Bose MIE2s might a bit more trouble than they're worth at their price point of $129.99.
