The Avegant Glyph is a little different from other VR and AR head-mounted displays. It looks like a pair of headphones, but inside the headband you'll find a pair of projectors that beam images directly onto your retinas, producing the equivalent of a 65-inch display. Head-tracking features are included, so you can scope 360-degree video, and it can be used as standard pair of headphones (either wirelessly or wired, when the four-hour battery runs out). The production version of the Glyph is lightweight, comfortable, and brighter than the prototype we checked out back in 2014.
