Comfort is excellent! I could see myself wearing these all day. Well maybe many hours. They are closed over the ear, so they might get warm. I plan to test them in the gym sometime and will update if it holds up.
I know I am comparing it to Bose qc20 in ear phones vs Sony over ear headphones. I haven't tried the Bose over ear headphones, but I would imagine this is a direct competitor, and for the value it is totally worth it over the Bose.
I still love my Bose qc20 for the in ear comfort while sleeping and portability.
UPDATE #1:
After some testing with my room fan on all settings, the train passing by again, the noise cancellation seems to turn the ambient volume down a few levels while the Bose will drop it down many levels. I still have to say the lack of static/white noise while NC is on is a great experience. And when the music is playing, you usually wont notice outside noises.
UPDATE #2
I was planning to use these as my new workout headphones at the gym. I know they aren't meant for it. I tested them out at home doing some bicep curls and my ears started to get warm and damp after 15 minutes. Therefore I will not be using them at the gym! But on my initial impression about the noise cancellation effectiveness compared to Bose, there is no comparison. . I use my Bose in ear NC for sleeping and it works great. These headphones I'll probably use for movie watching.
It's fine as bluetooth headphones and okay as noise canceling headphones but that's it.
The over-ear design is comfortable and can be worn for extended periods without discomfort.
There are, however, a few experience problems that I can't get over.
From most to least annoying(IMO):
1. The skip directions are unintuitive - to skip forward, you push the switch backward.
2. When at max volume, pushing the volume up button causes the music to stop so it can give you an audible(you did something wrong) beep. I've owned other BT headphones and they would just beep without stopping my music.
3. The mic sucks. Tried a few times to use it during a phone call and for a video chat on my laptop. Useless. I have a pair of $20 BT headphones that work better.
4. Noise canceling is on by default. If you don't need/want it at that moment and forget to turn it off, you're just wasting battery.
At the price I paid, 5 stars. Not sure if I'd have ever paid the full MSRP for these, however.
I recommend.
$200 headphone bands should not break that easily.
And yes... when they are working they are awesome. Which is why this bugs me so much!

there some hidden fonction for the bluetooth quality. make sur to check the guide to use the better quality (even if the default is probably ok for most of people). NC can be turn off if needed and you can also adjust it if the environnement has change. You only have to press tne NC button for 2 sec and it will re-adjust itself to the new surronding conditions.
overall a good buy.
If you want GOOD over the ear Bluetooth wireless headphones with WORKING noise cancelling, get the Sony MDR-1000X or Bose QC35 (I've owned both for many months) or newer Sony WH1000XM2 or QC35 series 2.
I also recently bought the Bluetooth wireless earbuds with Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) Sony WF1000X but haven't had time to use them much but they also work very well for ANC (at least by my initial thoughts and observation).
